Does anyone know what new steel seels for in Canada?

 

I've been looking all over the internet and I'll I can find is scrap pricing.

 

I'm looking for 4" mild steel plate, if that matters.

Depends what your using 4" plate for, if you're just looking for drops or some small pieces some metal recyclers may sell to you if they get something that thick. For new material metal supermarket is alright, but you would be better off getting it directly from a manufacture.

Unfortunately, not a lot of choices for steel here, I ended up buying new steel.

 

72c a pound for what I needed. I also didn't need a lot
