do you watch videos before sleep?

zassou

i used to have trouble sleeping, only able to sleep when im very tired, its fixed now.

altho i still need to something to do other than staring at the pitch black ceiling.

recently i got hook by "silent" restoration videos (thanks youtube algorithm lord). where the host is doing restoration work on mainly old rusted tools, and sometime others as well.

there is little to no talking during these videos, often no background music as well, its weirdly satisfying to watch, and really help the transition to sleep.

channels like black beard projects,  torbjorn arman,  and really random channel (he is restoring a honda super cub) are among my favourites.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!

I often catch up on my Youtube subs on my laptop when I'm in bed. Mostly automotive and tech vloggers, no specific content in the videos that help me relax though.

I nod off around a certain time because all the LMG videos are boring because of my bodyclock

I only have time for my favorite series before I go to sleep. I like watching sports as well. Don't know why, I'm always calm and ready to sleep after watching WWE, boxing or something like that. The app I use (review) allows watching this stuff right from smartphone. I use a smartphone for watching stuff before sleep because there is an opportunity to set the automatic turn-off there.

Watching videos keeps me up.  If i can't sleep I usually try to get work done instead.  That's usually why I can't sleep.

Yes, but I use a blue light filter to reduce brightness and color warmness to 2250K and 20% brightness at night.

SunsetScreen on PC. (Kind of like F.lux, but does more, unless F.lux changed dramatically in the last year)

Midnight on Android. (There's plenty of other apps as well)

Android has a built in blue light filter that works great.

Unfortunately, not available on all android devices.

It became a feature only starting Android Oreo. (Technically Nougat (7.0) as well, but it was exclusive to Pixel phones)

Not all of us feel the need to buy a new phone every year to get the latest OS.
