Pirating Sony Vegas 15 safely?

First time even considering pirating. Basically, I wanna do some Youtube for a little bit of fun, but still have some decent effects and stuff. But with all the malware out there today, I'm a little leery with stuff like this. Can anyone give me some tips to stay safe. Or maybe legitimate ways of pirating Vegas (thats a oxymoron).

The safest way to pirate Sony Vegas is to legally download the free version of Da Vinci Resolve or Hitfilm Express.
