yup this is pretty normal for them. gotta give their logistics team a break though, canada is a big place and shipping a whole mattress isn't cheap. Everything I order in vancouver seems to get flown in from ontario in order to make it in two days. lol

Something no one asked: do you have Amazon Prime?

The 4 days they quoted you is pretty standard for the regular Amazon shipping window. You could also live in a remote location, which might increase the time.

I live in a major city and can sometimes get things with next day shipping. It's great.

Also happy birthday fellow Libra.

Well, it means that if you order on a Sunday it "should" be there on Tuesday.  However, if you read the fine print it states there are limitations to it.  If it has a prime 2day thing next to it, and it doesn't arrive by then, all you have to do is contact Amazon and they'll check it for you.  If there's a problem they'll resolve it.

@K i a r a Go to Amazon's help page, contact them through the chat option, and ask them why the extra time.  Considering they're the ones who deal with it they can tell you the exact reason.

Monday was a holiday. Still though, if it's two day it should be by Thursday at the latest.

Call, complain, get something comp'd to your account.  You pay for a service you should demand exactly what you are paying for.

By accepting excuses of "limitations" you are allowing this behavior and why would they adjust their behavior...until it impacts their bottom line.

Anytime Newegg does something outside our agreement, I get in contact with them immediately.  Depending on the depth of the issue, depends on what I will require in compensation to continue to utilize their services.  I can always take them elsewhere and its good to remind them as such.

From Newegg I have gotten 10% off next purchase up to $100 off, $50 gift cards, etc.  I don't spend a ton but I spend weekly with them and they have a choice, keep me happy or lose my revenue.

And for those who are about to argue about the "niceness" of doing these things...well you are you and I am me, and when we enter into an agreement I expect you to hold your end of the bargain, especially when my money exits my bank account (my end of the bargain).

This is going to come off as rude, but I think it just needs to be mentioned.

You're better off logging a ticket with their system, and getting a justification or reason, rather than a brains trust to let you THINK what we know.
