Posted September 1, 2018 It's a toss-up between beef and salmon for me. I think I like salmon a bit more, though. Salmon glazed in a sugary bourbon sauce makes me tingle inside. Posted September 1, 2018 Pork I guess since no one else answered for pork yet.. It's tasty in bratwursts. Pork is also amazing as marinated tenderloins. It's nice to use pork to switch up from turkey and chicken. @Dan Castellaneta lol well I'm getting reminded of how much better beef is for making burgers than turkey. I mean unless you pump in extra fat and stuff to keep ground turkey from getting dry. Yeah beef is amazing. By pumping in extra fat, I mean mayonnaise - cheese curds and bacon pieces. a Moo Floof connoisseur and curator. @handymanshandle x @pinksnowbirdie || Jake x Brendan Youtube Audio Normalization Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/967134-best-meats/#findComment-11707769 Share on other sites
 But god damn even with all the shit I mentioned before with the turkey burgers over beef burgers you can't beat a plain old beef burger. With turkey. You really do have to do a lot to make it better or it's dry and sometimes crumbly. And bratwursts, I mean sure there's chicken brats and shit but again pork is just amazing for that. a Moo Floof connoisseur and curator. @handymanshandle x @pinksnowbirdie || Jake x Brendan Youtube Audio Normalization Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/967134-best-meats/#findComment-11707775 Share on other sites
 There is no reason nowadays to eat mammals like lamb, pig, and cow. Plus, they're not too healthy for you. We'd have more food to go around if we stopped eating so much beef (wouldn't have to feed cows food we could be eating), CO2 emissions would go down, and it would help lower deaths from heart disease. The only turkey I enjoy eating is smoked turkey drumsticks. If you like beef burgers (everyone that I would want to associate with) then I would suggest trying elk or bison burgers. Don't forget ham and bacon. Bacon it's like candy of the meats. Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/967134-best-meats/#findComment-11708011 Share on other sites
 Posted September 1, 2018 So many to choose from, so much that hasn't been mentioned yet; Pheasant is amazing (possibly only widely available in Europe?), the tastiest of the game birds IMO, possibly the tastiest of all birds, but duck and goose run pheasant pretty close. Rabbit and squirrel both taste kinda of like chicken, but are super sustainable. Goat and mutton, like lamb but a bit stronger and a bit tougher, amazing either stewed or curried. Then there is the fish, regular fish, shell fish the cephalopods (Squid, octopus & cuttlefish). I couldn't possibly pick a favourite, it's like the what's your favourite cheese question, there is way too much to choose from. I don't eat pork because it is worst than beef, I rarely eat lamb due to price, only beef I eat is the stewing stuff or ground. the meat isn't actually bad for you in proper portions it's when you go out and eat a 10 oz steak every day for 35 years is when it becomes a issue... The best way to go is to actually eat insects Which for us North Americans seems to be a impossible feat...
