Race games without Toyota? Wuth?

I don't think toyota is going to bat an eye at 100 signatures

 

not only that but who cares if toyota is in racing games there are hundreds of car companies in the world.

Meh, nothing from their current line excites that couldn't be substituted for a Subaru BRZ.

 

Though given how good an advertisement being featured in a game like Gran Turismo or Forza is, seems a curious stance to take.

The BRZ is actually pretty nice once you get decent tires on it

Well it looks like there will be a Toyota in FH4 so i dunno, they might have changed their mind already?

But what if someone likes Toyota? 

Just because there are a lot of car companies doesn't make your favorite car missing from the game any less annoying. . .

toyota wants to make money here. buying toyota branded merchandise and toyota products and vehicles is what they want.

the reason they are pulling out of this market is because they aren't seeing a return on investment by simply advertising their logo or vehicles in a video game. 

it's the same reason large companies are pulling advertisements and sponsorships from nascar , the real nascar. It's because their return on investment isn't worth the cost.

what you talking about "no toyota in games" go look at forza 7 , forza horizon 3 , and 2 , and 1 and need for speed , the list goes on. your just too blind to see em.

This has nothing to do with return on investment.  Toyota doesn't want to be associated with street racing anymore, which certain games promote (NFS for example).  Honda did the same thing about a decade ago, but they eventually changed their mind.

Um, if you like toyota cars, you'd like the cars to be in the game you are playing, sure, there are "other cars" in the game, but if someone like toyotas, they would like those to be in the game so they can virtually drive the vehicles they like.
