When do you think its time to upgrade your mouse and keyboard?

Just a random question and want to know everyone's opinions.

 

I have a Corsair M65 with a button missing, and the middle mouse barely working, and a corsair k70 which is still going relatively strong.  I definitely need to upgrade my mouse, but do I change my keyboard too? Whats your thoughts.

I personally switch out peripherals if they are worn out enough that their day to day functionality is compromised... or if they have technical problems (looking at you Logitech G600). 

 

You don't have to change your keyboard if you change your mouse. Why not buy a new M65 anyway?

If it works keep it, but if it doesn't then obviously you need to replace it. I wouldn't mind getting a mx blue keyboard, but my K65 works and I can't justify the upgrade. I've had my keyboard and current mouse for the last 3 years

I've had it since at least 2014 and personally don't find it the most comfortable, I'd like to try something new too. Problem is I like to have all my peripherals by the same company so I don't have loads of drivers and software just for my peripherals.

Look into the Corsair Sabre mouse if you want a good mouse on the cheap and want to stick with Corsair. Or the Scimitar Pro if you play MMORPGs.

I'll have to go to a local PC place and try a few mice. The keyboard could just do with a good clean.
