I am going to spend between 70-130 bucks.

So there is no k95 in my budget. I am also not planing to get a khail keyboard.

I already found some keyboards.(sry for price in euros)

Great keyboard, using myself (cherry brown), but may be a little too expensive.

And have no lights (or even letters) - pure black (looks really nice).

I was needed lot of time to make that decission, but my friend convince me by simply argument - he asks me what am I doing on computer. Well, I work on it, many hours per day, typing a lot etc. So, he asks me if I using keyboard more than playing games. I think yes - I play games sometimes, but using keyboard all the time. So he asks me why I thinking about buying device that I'm using all the time but have no problem to buy graphics card that I use from time to time. :) That convinced me. :)

But what makes this keyboard so much better.

Isnt it just the quality or am o missing something.

If its only the quality i could also buy a g413 dont you think.

Corsair K70 is probably my favourite board I have tried, awesome fullsize

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I don't know what makes it so much better. I saw that keyboard on typist competitions, it has good opinions and recommendations, is something like "one of the best". I don't know, I just want it and I buy it. I like that dark look without colorful lights, with no letters (so it last forever and will never looks bad). It's always personal decission. I just always wants to get this one and I have it.

I really like it too but i am just a bit broke so a corsair srafe or g413 would be better.

Still thanks dude!

Keep it up!

Make sure you buy a key switch tester to figure out what switch type you want to get.

No amount of reading or video watching will get you an answer on that.

I agree with the posts above, i build a keyboard myself which i tought would be the ultimate for me. i used cherry MX blue switches for this, and thought i would like them because i liked the Reds and Brown switches aswell.  (on a Corsair K65 and a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid i respectively)

now i'm switching to Cherry ML switches tough on my board. Simply because i can't get myself to like the blues :(

so you really have to experience the switches yourself to know what you like.

There is not such thing as the best mechanical keyboard. Each person will have their own prefer brand and type of key switches they like. What you need to do is find your own personal preference instead of asking others which one is the best because what's best for them may not be the best for you. I personally prefer switches with a tactile bump so it it let's me know when to release the keys, instead of continuing to press down on it until it hits the PCB (bottom out).

Yes, you won't ever need more than the Strafe. It will last you a lifetime.

the rgb flavor is the Corsair RGB Strafe - endless customization options and powerful Macro functions.

I love mine and would recommend it anytime

No

Yes If you don't want to use any normal keys for macros.

The k95 has a few extra unsigned keys that you can program dedicated macros with, but you can do that with almost any other normal key on STRAFE and K95 as well with the iCUE software. You always have keys you don't use in a game or program to assign macros functions to. That is why is is good value because of all the extra functionality an very good build quality

I reccomend companies like GMMK, and Ducky, maybe even Filco come with great build company, and GMMK allows you to choose almost every kind of Gateron, and Kailh switches. Cherry is more reputable, but i've tried a lot of cherry mx switches and I can give a kailh/gateron alternative that is as good or better. I know you said you wouldn't like to try Kailh, and I was in your same position and didn't think they were very reliable. After trying them tho I shut my mouth really quick lmao. PLEASE at least read the rest of my post.

Cherry MX Blue- Kailh Box Whites. Med- Light tactility, with IMO an insanely addicting click.

Cherry MX Brown- Kailh Box Brown, A little heavier than Cherry Browns (50g) quiet but you still get the clacks of the bottoming out. Gateron Brown, Very similar but 45g Actuation Force compared to Kailh

Cherry Reds- Kailh Box Reds, awesome linear switches that are WAYY smoother than Cherry's reds. If you want an even speedier switch Kailh offers the Kailh Silvers. If you don't rest your hands on your keys, and want a very light switch, Gateron Clears have an actuation force of 35g EXTREMELY LIGHT. Linear switches aren't exactly my flavor but It's up to you

Cherry Clears- Kailh Box Royal, a rather heavy switch if thats what your into (75g) Quiet but EXTREMELY tactile if you like that kind of thing. Also the Kailh Pro Purple is an awesome switch. Like browns but with a lot of extra tactility.

Cherry MX Speed- Gaterons Clears also fit into here, and not to mention Kailh's Silvers.

Etc. Kailh offers switches like the Kailh Bronze which is very unique. It's a clicky LINEAR switch. The feel takes a little time to get used to but they feel awesome after a while. Kailh also provides heavy BOX switches in collaboration with NovelKeys.

I'll leave links to these switch pages if you would like to learn more!

Kailh BOX Heavy - https://novelkeys.xyz/collections/switches/products/novelkeys-x-kailh-box-heavy-switches

Kailh BOX Switches - https://novelkeys.xyz/products/kailh-box-switches

Kailh Pro Purple - https://novelkeys.xyz/collections/switches/products/kailh-pro-switches

Kailh Speed Switches - https://novelkeys.xyz/collections/switches/products/kailh-speed-switches

Kailh Heavy Click switches - https://novelkeys.xyz/collections/switches/products/novelkeys-x-kailh-box-thick-clicks?variant=3747938238504. These are basically clicky switches but with some CRAZY tactility if thats what ur into.'

Hope this helped make your descision!
