Does Article 13 still affect the UK post-Brexit?

RileyTheFox

So I was thinking about this whole Article 13 chaos, does this still affect the UK? Seen as the country is leaving the European Union, does this mean that if this passes it will be passed over here too? Or after we have fully left the EU will it be banished? Or is that up to the government then? Just wondering as if this goes anything like Net Neutrality, it will still get passed even if millions cry for it not to.

Really a shame that the UK screws Brexit up because now other countries are less likely to follow.

If I was in the UK I would be more worried about your government than article 13.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

There are few things that are known. Until Brexit takes effect, we continue to be bound by EU law that is in place or is made to be active. If Article 13 passes before Brexit, we will have it too. If passed after, it doesn't matter to the extent it would only have indirect impact.

Unfortunately, as Article 13 affects the internet, it'll be affecting the entire world, which means any website that opporates within the EU (which is pretty much every website) will have to abide by the EU regulations...

This just overall is a sign of how the EU has got so out of touch with its people and has no idea how to adapt to the modern world.

I used to be an ardent remainer but now, i think again

Well as someone in the uk, the government is shit at the moment and it doesn’t help that Theresa may isn’t doing a good job handling it.

all I’m hoping as a content creator that we will be disregarded because we aren’t in the eu any more

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)
