So this is just for streaming XBONE footage?

If so, you don't need that GPU, the CPU is a good choice, and try getting an SSD if at all possible.

Good choice on the 16GB RAM

Mobo choice shouldn't impact speed at all.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

ok ssd what is that for??

It's like a hard drive, but much much faster.

Since it's newer, the capacities are usually smaller and SSDs cost more money per GB.

personally i would do a 1600/2600 x or non-x due to the different sqedualing in Ryzen that seem to favor streaming. i dont how much that affects the stream quality overall. Ryzen prefer the viewer more than the streamer. the difference in performance between the i-5 and r-5 would be negligable.

8400 is still rather good since you are only using it to encode. if you were playing while encoding the r5 would probably have performed marginally better on the viewer side and marginally worse on the streamer side, but we are talking about some framdrops more on the i5 while single-digit less fps when above 100 fps on the r5

Maybe go with something like this....with the introduction of new series of ryzen chips...the prices of older gen chip have significantly reduced.  ..

U can even go with something like i5 8400+b360 if u r more into gaming...
