Most games like clockspeed/cores though it often depends on the effects being used/game engine. tl:dr everything(?)

 

The usual i3 8100 build with 8GB DDR4/1TB blue and a 1050ti. Could always swap out the 8100 with a ryzen 3 1200 or whatever the amd equiv is.

I think it's around £500-600 for most people but I've seen people say £750-1k is a normal thing.

 

Personally fall into the 500-600 range as I can always upgrade later and that's what I like about that zone.

Spent £611 I think on my current build so far, I have a 8600k, 8GB DDR4, 525GB SSD and a 1050ti. Upgrading my GPU next summer or something.

Not only that but also IPC. There's a reason why you can't compare a 4Ghz quad-core ryzen with SMT with any quad-core intel with HT.

I mean if IPC would always be the same the FX series would be awesome, but even tho they run at 4-5Ghz and have 8 cores, they are absolute crap...
