If you have a complaint, concern or question about any moderator action that has been taken against you, please send a PM to me, @Whiskers and/or the moderator in question, and we will gladly discuss it. All complaints about moderation that I have been made aware of have either been completely unfounded or the result of misunderstandings or miscommunication, but if there was a case of moderator abuse then we would consider that to be a serious problem, and deal with it accordingly.   C

Did you know, that with the approval of the mod team, you can create a second account? Such an account could be used to reserve you old name.

i was gonna verify if the 2nd profile with its different capitalization would do the trick but then i remembered that I slightly changed my username 173 days ago

Pretty much yeah, it takes times for all the mods to go back and forth between each other seeing as time zones are all over the place.

 

 

 

Anyway, since this is the right thread (it's "moderators on the forum" after all) ;

 

we're pretty much all in agreement that it doesn't really violate the spirits of the rules, basically we don't allow begging (through any means, including funding websites) to avoid anyone and everyone to post random funding campaign (personal ones, non-offical ones, etc...), but we've had exceptions in the past ; Brad from UFD Tech for his kid, or when Tyler passed.

 

This one would be similar in the sense it's a direct campaign by Rossmann (and not an unknown person), it's related to Tech News, and removing the link to the GoFundMe would be odd since that's where part of Rossmann's message and points are posted.
