How long should an Unlocking service take for a mobile phone in Canada?

Canada EH

Luckily I paid on Paypal, so I will complain when the 6 days they claim to unlock it is up.

I look on ebay and they claim very fast.

I am on the one of the Big 3

Luckily I have a spare unlocked phone, but its old, need the iphone 5 I bought for $25 instead.

Just go to the carrier, they have to do it for free by law

It's required that carriers unlock phones sold in Canada by law as of December 1st 2017 - the CRTC mandated this change.

Very interesting. Can I take the phone into a kiosk at the mall tomorrow and its done?

OK I will then get paypal to refund me the cash. I paid the guy $5 or something.

Took 4.5 days for unlock, but now I know I can just call up the service provider. I wont be needing another phone for 5-8 years anyways. Just gotta fix the screen on my other two then I will have as spare cell phones two iphone 4s and a wonky donky Windows phone, never understood why Billy Boy went in that direction, the phone works, but its user interface is wonky donky.
