LG are seeking display notch feedback and rumors show the LG G7 may have one!

Yes, but considering it's multitudes more than other companies, and even more than many companies total revenues, the statement still holds true.

Well I'm not that convinced I'd have to search for specific figures. Because if you compare it to Apple, Apple markets their phones, tablets, a few computers and then the accessories. Samsung markets phones, tablets, accessories, computers, TVs, PC monitors, they make screens for basically everyone else, they make ssds, Ram derived chips, they sell processors, they have to market fridges, washing machines. Right now I'm staying in South Korea for holidays: Samsung makes alarm clocks, they make vacuum cleaners, door knobs, cooking plates, microwave ovens etc. That's a gigantic number of things they produce. The range of products they have is just not comparable to the likes of Apple or Microsoft. Which is why I am not convinced they spend that much more money than others for their phones.

The Essential Phone released long before the iPhone 10 did.

REEEEEE you said 10

REEEEEE it's supposed to be a Roman numeral

REEEEEE Roman numerals are so cool and I can't believe you just insulted Apple by using uncool stuff like a number to refer to the glorious iPhone X.

Anyway, Apple clearly invented the notch. Every notch made before that is of no consequence. It's so inferior that you should stop mentioning it. It wasn't designed by our savior Jony Ive and therefore it should cease to be.
