How do I completely remove Advertisements from anime websites like cartoon crazy?

My little brother who is 12 years old recently got into watching an anime  called yu gi oh after he saw it at his friends house. however all the websites I can find that will load on his ancient latitude D800 laptop, that he got from our older brother, all have advertisements that aren't exactly kid friendly is there some ad blocker or something that can prevent him from seeing these advertisements while still allowing his laptop to be able to play the anime?

Install the uBlock Origin addon

Ad-Blocking extensions for google chrome such as uBlock Origin have been around and extremely popular for a really long time. Any google search related to finding out how to block or remove ads immediately gives you many results on how to install an ad-blocker.

 

You can even do it on a per-site basis.

There's many sites of that type that will detect adblock and ublock though, and won't stream the video until the ad blocker is disabled.

Thank you for those that recommend uBlock origin. that seems to be working. as for site legitimacy. I don't know how to check that sorry.

Look for the anime on Anime News Network and scroll down until you get to the "English Companies" section, "Internet streaming". If the site isn't listed there, it's likely not legitimate.

I use multiple Ad blockers. They will block most things, but keep in mind Websites know your using them, so some sites become unusable with ad blockers on.

If site uses ton of ads, then it's not. Legit sites are much cleaner overall and have paid premium option for no ads.

Most of these anime sites are not "Legit". I know because I used to watch a lot of anime on them. LOL.
