Air in the res

While on the side make sure the res has a port open in order to  let the air escape. Then fill it up. Make sure to have the pump at full tilt to move trapped air out. Alternating the pump speed Can help as well as Well as tiltning the case around. Make sure to have all ports securely sealed when doing so....

My res has air in it but I'm unable to fill it up all the way due to it being on its side and I was wondering is there anything I could do?
