The only way you get free shipping on eBay is if the person offers it or as said above, collection in person. 

 

eBay isn't going to give shipping discount codes as they're effectively covering the sellers shipping costs. Different if it was their own. 

 

Maybe contact the seller and ask if they'll reduce the costs as you're willing to purchase the item. If there is best offer available, send an offer for a price and ask for shipping included.

Some sellers offer free boat delivery, while others offer free 3 or even 2 day. Just depends on the seller and what they want to do.

 

also some sellers will make items really cheap but inflate the shipping price, because I believe shipping cost doesn't get hit by ebay's crazy fees

The seller put that not ebay. So no most sellers that sell full time and don’t live in Asia will make shopping high Becase 1 people do pay that crazy shipping on rare vintage or oversized/bulky items and 2 the seller gets more money back from the sale

Doesn't look like a scam, the link in the form goes to ebay (the real one at least according to its certificate) and it doesn't ask you for money. I think it's just an attempt to get you to subscribe to their newsletter, but that's a pretty innocent endeavor (even tough it's annoying).

Sorry, at the point i wrote this i was really mad, because there was 3 posts in a row about people who got scammed, and then i lost all fate/hope in humanity.
