QUIT NOCKING THE 580!!!

Ive gotten lots of crap for still using a gtx 580.  Overclocked i score 910 on unigine heaven.  Thats pretty much the same as a 7950.  So please quit nocking it.  Just because its 2 or 3 generations old doesent mean its a bad card.

It's really good at compute as the 680 and 780 are driver locked.

Absolutely not, two low end crossfire cards are superior to everything.

 

It's not like I bought the card when they released at ~230$ debut price, I'm just that stupid.

580 is only balls because it has little vram.

580 can still get by, but some settings are going to have to be knocked down to avoid a vram cap.

Ok OP. I agree, as long as people don't nock my BFG (remember that company) GTX 260 216 MAXXCORE (it has an AWESOME picture painted on it of a dude with laserbeams coming out of his eyes or something).  Behold this mighty beasts OpenGL performance!

Holy god, it's friggin "KNOCK" not "NOCK".

(It's also "lose" not "loose" and in the my show lace is loose, or my case fans are loose).

 

The GTX 480 was...pretty bad. The GTX 580 was an improvement, but it was still based on the same architecture.

I was using a 285 up until last year, still done games at 1080P even if the settings were medium, come to think of it the grafics were still as good as a ps4 lol.

I don't know anyone in their right mind who would knock it... it rivals the 660, when OC'd it can easily rival a 7950 at it's peak clocks, hell my own 480 did.

 

Don't know why it needed a thread though.
