Thoughts on a 2018 Civic SI for a lease?  Currently leasing the 2.0 non-turbo coupe, just looking for something with a little more balls in a daily.

for sometime next year I was considering leasing a Accord, but then I decided a lease would be pretty dumb...

I had a 91 300zx TT I was dailying so at $189 a month I save $50 in fuel and probably about $75 in repairs each month.  So it's kinda' a no-brainer.

On a side note Mercedes have entered the market here with a pickup, but it’s just a Navara with a new badge.

You ever seen a 65 Pontiac Catalina? 64 Ford Country Squire? Volvo 240? Mid 2000s WRX hatches? Hatched and wagons are the best thing since sliced bread. And they have (much) more cargo space than a sedan while getting better mileage and having better aerodynamics than a van. There’s a reason they’re dominant in Europe. I don’t like Europe most of the time but they got thewagon part right

Yeah crossovers look like turds. I wish we had more RWD diesel wagons, id turn that into a drift car before you could say wagons can’t drift

They do not look great, especially the WRX hatches. I’m not jumping on this bandwagon.

BMW and Mercedes both sell one wagon in the US. A 328 I believe and an E class. Both available with only one engine, auto trans, etc etc. we had plenty of good wagons in the 50s and 60s but they just lost popularity or something, I don’t know, and they just disappeared

hold up where did you hear this? i didn't know this was rumored. i wonder what they'll bring. i just wished there were more lower priced wagons like a mazda 6 wagon or like a fusion wagon, both of which look super good. and knowing the market, i doubt those audi wagons would sell here.

The audi hatches sell well, like the A3. Actually I think that's their only hatch lol.

IIRC, all 3 series wagons are auto in the US. Maybe older versions were manual, but not currently sold

 

And yeah Utes haven't been around since the elco went out in the 80s. The closest thing to a ute in america is like the Honda Ridgeline. All other SUV/truck hybrids (Avalanche, Explorer Sport Trac, Escalade EXT, etc) stopped production by the turn of the decade.
