New SSD For boot 100-256gb whats the best out there and cheapest

Im looking for a SSD still currently using a HDD for boot is just dated just wondering what you guys would suggest for a cheap but reliable first time buy.

id go for the 840 evo in 120gb.

Looking thru the forum postings, the Samsung 840 series is very popular. Personally, I have been using a Crucial M4 and a C300 in a raid 0 setup for about 2 years with no problems and great performance.

I was looking at the M4 im just clueless about SSD's seems like theres alot of different specs you need to take into account what would you say is the main factor for you?

Either the 840 EVO for better performance or the Kingston SSDNow V300 if you want to spend less.
