Can I watercool this graphics card?

Yes, this one.

Well I can say it is NOT a reference PCB, so that means they don't have a full cover block for it.

So your options are:

  • don't watercool
  • trade it for another card
  • get a generic VGA block and cool the VRMs/memory with small heatsinks and airflow over them
  • get a full cover block from another manufacturer, if one exists

Hi,

Finding a 1080 Ti suitable for watercooling in the UK is horrible now (Nvidia didn't restock for 3 weeks).

I got a notification that a Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Turbo OC is available now, I planned on using the EK 1080 Ti block and I have no idea if it would fit.

It seems to be the reference pcb just by looking at it, can someone with some knowledge on this confirm?

The EK compability list doesn't say a word about it.

I need a 1080 Ti with 6+8 power connectors because I only have custom cables for this, because I made them before this whole mining thing.

Welp somebody used a Kraken G12 Bracket + Corsair H55 AIO to cool one of those on PcPartPicker:

IDK if this helps

I would check block makers like bitspower, barrow, bykski, alphacool, phanteks, and others if you really want a full cover block

(my quick googling is not bearing any fruit, however)

Yeah, I will not over complicate things for myself and just wait for the reference cards to be restocked.

I also found an MSI Aero 1080 Ti somewhere in Portugal for MSRP, but sadly they don't ship to UK.

Sucks that I planned to finish this week, but the 2+ week delay on the restock took me by surprise :S

No, no it is not. According to their site it is an 8+2 phase power design, whereas nvidia's site states reference is 7

You're right, I was thinking of the wrong layout as it shares the it with the gaming card minus the dvi port.

Though someone made a block for that card.
