Depends. How many GB of games do you have, how many GB of programs do you have, and how much "other" stuff do you want on it?

I wouldn't say that anymore, get a 2TB mass storage drive as games are getting larger.

For gaming, yeah. If you plan to do work related stuff like rendering videos, I'd get more.

I have windows 8, some programs, and like 4 decently large games on a 128gb SSD. Obviously, games that are over 50gb probably would go on the HDD.

Yes this is what I am using and I still have free space even with large gameplay files on my 1TB hard drive.

That depends how you will utilize it. Some formats + higher resolution take up a ton of space. As with games becoming larger, yes we are heading to 30GB+ games now with next gen. It's something to consider as well.

Depends how many you play; i have almost filled my 1TB games drive because i don't uninstall games after I finish them... If you plan on playing a select few you should be fine.

Personally no. It depends what quality of experience you prefer. I couldn't stand waiting to spawn in BF4. I run one 120 SSD and a 500gb HDD, but an additional 120 would be perfect for a years worth of Triple A releases.
