I have Sennheiser HD1's and I love them. Without any other comparisons that I can draw from, I would say they're a solid choice and Sennheiser is a rock-solid name in audio.

TFZ King. Chinese brands seem to make the best budget IEM. It has removable cable and you can easily wear it for sleeping

If you go on amazon you can get a lightly used pair of KEF M100  for $80 or less. They usually retail for $175. But they're probably worth about $100.

They sound neutral with smooth highs. So recommend them.

The new ibasso it01 are really good, more detailed than the TFZ king which used to be the one of the go too 100$ or less IEMs. The overall sound is fairly balanced and you get a nice case and really nice cable with them. I would defiantly recommend getting them. The value is amazing.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

After owning the KZ ED9, ATE, ZSE and ZS5 I have become a KZ hater. Yes, for the price they're very good. But the hype is way too much. The highs are way too sharp and show sibilance and vocals sound muffled on some tracks.
