Finally 2018 Build

jbpb

2014! 2014, I decided to build my own PC. I don't know what exactly happened but I postponed it year after year.

So, came 2018, and I saw my post on Facebook that I was thinking of building a new PC for myself. This depressed me. I asked myself what the hell am I doing and why am I still haven't built my own PC.

I have suggested 4 builds, 2 to my friends, 2 for my brothers! They built it, we built it!

NOW WHERE THE EFF IS MY OWN BUILD!? :(

You do realize that this is literally the worst time to build a PC, right?

Nothing to be concerned about, but upgrade that PSU when you upgrade your system. It's a group-regulated one missing OCP.

Any suggestion for what PSU I can change it to? :)

Hope you like your rig kid. It's gonna plunge in value 75% when RAM, GPU and SSD prices fall.

From where I am it is already at over price range... And its hard to really look for parts with price near their MSRP...

I hate comments like these. Not only did you tell him nothing about the parts he chose but you also had to act like a dick about his PC when he already bought all the parts. Just making him feel worse about his build.

This PSU will be fine. Just ask when you next upgrade, as new PSUs and sales come around all the time.

People need to exercise patience if they want to take advantage of low prices. OP didn't because he couldn't wait, explaining how he is short-sighted.

I do agree with you on this part but you could have said it diffrently. Kid and plunged kind of gave your message a more harsh tone or at least in my head it did.

Congrats on getting the build together man! I just built my first system a week ago. Yes I overpaid for graphics card/RAM, but when it's time it's time. The money is gone, nothing you can do about that now except stop thinking about how much it cost and enjoy the damn thing! Good luck on putting it all together!

For all the people claiming that he overpaid, okay but

Ram lowest price was $167= $88+

SSD he overpaid $23

GPU lowest was $480= $80+

So $191 difference.  Money is money but $191 isn't life changing if he needed or just simply wanted a computer now.

One could argue he could find some idiot to buy the GV-N107TGAMING OC-8GD for $700

SFF Time N-ATX V2 - Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro WIFI - AMD Ryzen 9 5800X3D - Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4090 - LG C2 OLED 42"
