KFCs in Canada accepted Bitcoin during a limited time promotion when customers ordered their "Bitcoin Bucket" ($20 + $5 delivery fee) through their website.

 

KFC did a live stream on Facebook of a "Bitcoin Bucket" with a real time representation of $20 CAD in Bitcoin during this promotion.

 

The "Bitcoin Bucket" can be purchased here, however it currently appears to be sold out.

They look like waffle fries in the right side of the bucket. And yeah IDK what this timing is, they either just thought of this project or they've been sitting on it for a while and just now decided to launch it since the market seems stable at the moment?

You're really not missing much. Potatoes are potatoes unless different seasonings were added to them which is what I usually do.

You could always order your chicken from KFC then drive to Chick-fil-A for them fries Would be neat if they started using Waffle Fries here too. (Or the Waffle Fries are part of the limited time promotion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

So, people could pay $20 CAD plus a $15 USD Bitcoin network fee to buy $20 CAD of chicken? That effectively would make the deal $40 for $20 of chicken (plus $5 delivery fee).

WHAT? When did they remove mashed potatoes? I actually used to order that as a side back in the old days when I was a kid.

 

Lately I just get Popeyes when I want fried chicken - I like KFC chicken as much or more, but I hate KFC fries, and Popeyes Cajun Fries are... what's the term kids would use these days? Lit a. f.?
