Which GPU should I get for these games?

Ok, so I'm finally making the switch from an 860m laptop to a custom built desktop. xD

All the other parts are decided except for the GPU:https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Swagboy/saved/VmwkTW

Games I want to run:

Project Cars 2

GTA V

Watch Dogs 2

PUBG

CSGO

I currently have a 1440p 144hz G-Sync monitor I got at Best Buy on a sale for $350 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-27-led-qhd-gsync-monitor-black/5293502.p?skuId=5293502

I'm thinking about a 1080ti but I'm not sure if it's really worth the extra $200 over the 1080 for just 15-20fps more over 120fps however 15-20fps over 30fps makes a huge difference. An OC 1070ti can match or surpass a 1080 stock in most games. I'd like to know your guys' opinions for the GPU.  Thanks! :D

Yes, the 1080ti is worth the extra $200 as it is about the same perf/value as a 1080.

Well, if you can spend that much.

I'm going to have to wait for the 1080ti to drop in price or... Volta?

Too bad Vega does not have enough stock for MSRP prices.

Freesync monitors put Gsync monitors to shame:

Volta might not even be for gaming

I sure hope it is lol. A GTX 1180 or 2080 or something would be incredibly fast looking at the TITAN V. And prices should be around the launch 1080 range  - 600 possibly 700.

Last I checked the Titan V was designed for AI and power users and other things

the next gen ti card is gonna come at an extreme later time.

nvidia will always push out the less price/performance card. the non ti one.

then push out the ti half a year later.

so i think you need to wait for a year to get one.

not worth it,

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

1080 ti is perfect for 1440p/120-144hz, not that the games u are running are THAT intensive, unless u play on getting a 4k 120hz monitor next year just grab the 1080 ti now.

GTA V runs well on most GPUs.

Not sure about Project Cars 2.

Watch Dogs 2 is one of the most poorly optimised games I've seen.

PUBG is also terribly optimised.

Again, any modern GPU will be absolutely fine on CSGO.

Yes the 2080ti or whatever will come out a long time after the 2080. I think I'm going to wait for the 2080 and see how much faster it is than the 1080ti. Till then ill just leave my build incomplete with this old gt 630 I have lying around. Actually integrated graphics might be better at that point.

if you have the patience to wait, great! go for it!
