My 7870 xt will do that for you and is £140, take in mind ive got an i3 so i wil be much better for you.(hovers around 40fps average)

I recommend the 7970 as you still get 3 free games with it(not the best cooler but it comes with free crap so i cant complain).(60fps nearly always).

How in the world are you managing that? Are you not playing with AA? It's not really max settings then, is it?

Unless you're doing an orange themed build, no.

Can I get 100+ fps in bf4 playing at 1080p, medium graphics quality preset with amd fx 8350 and r9 280x windforce and 8gb ram? if not. how much fps do you think i could get with a mixture of low and medium graphics?

Specs of my PC:

CPU: AMD FX 8350  Motherboard: Gigabyte 990XA UD3  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 2GB  HDD: WD Green 2TB SSD:  Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD RAM: Corsair 8GB(2X4) PSU: CoolerMaster G650M

The fx 8350 actually hold back a 280x. I have a 7970 oced to 1200 core clock. On max settings gpu usage sometimes dip to 60-70%. During these dip the fps are at low 40's  :( . When usage is above 90% it runs at 60+ fps. Rarely it ever goes above 100. Do note I run at 1920 x 1200 so it's slightly above 1080p. Sadly even at minimum settings you won't get average 100+ fps. It'll be at around 70-80fps.

holds it back? so its a bottleneck? hmm 1st time i hear of a 8350 holding back a 280x.

edit: but in csgo i can easily get above 144 fps right?

I have no clue. I'll go test it tomorrow. I bought CS:GO months ago and haven't played it yet LOL.
