Could very well be true, pascal is quite old. Problem is that there's no real incentive for volta to happen. Hopefully it is true. 

But they had to keep the X, didn't they? Titan xp volta 6 months later confirmed.

pascal more than year ago already still have a chance its still x one without small p but *take it with grain of salt

Oh my it's already time to middle finger who got the TITAN Xp? xD

 

nVidia should really slow down on their TITAN releases, anxious to see the benchmarks truth be told it probably doesn't bring much over the 1080 Ti... and it costs more than the double of the cheaper 1080 Ti's so yeah... completely pointless card outside of higher refresh rate 4k gaming.

Titan X (maxwell) was 999 euro, Titan X (pascal) was 1299 euro and now Titan X (volta) is gonna be like 1600 euro ... (adding eu taxes to US price is actually 1754 euro)

And that trend results in lower gpu's too (970 was 379 euro while 1070 was 599 and 980 was 499 while 1080 was 799)

Good thing i have 900 euro on the side for xx80 ><

my campus got 1 blade prototype supermicro cray xc-4x with 4x v100 and it perform 10x way more faster than p100 for deep learning *rest info are secret????
