Is Getting A 1440p Monitor Worth It?

KyberKylo77

is it worth getting a 1440p screen or should i just skip to 4k later and stick to 1080p now? I do some editing and gaming so its a balance. So is gaming in 1440p any much different from 1080p?

Personally speaking I'd save up for an ultrawide 3440x1440p

Personally I think going 4k is a better value - the cost increase compared to 1440p is fairly low for what you're getting in return. 21:9 screens are mostly overpriced and give you less screen space than similarly priced (or even cheaper) 4k displays. For editing it's also much, much better.

He means the gtx 1080 is wasted at 1080p.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
