My dad seems to think his old Athlon 6000+ is better than the Sempron in my rig (Unlocked to an Athlon 445, and overclocked to 3.2GHz), when it really beats the living hell out of it. And that the P4 I use is worse than his Athlon (again, overclocked to 3.2 GHz), and IT beats the shit out of it.

I like AMD, don't get me wrong, but my dad is a dick about it. Suddenly his Athlon 6000+ with 1GB of RAM and a 9800GS are better than a Pentium 4 at 3.2GHz with 1.5GB of RAM and an X1650 Pro, or an "Athlon" II X2 445, 2GB of RAM, and a HD 6570. Yet in his "gaming" rig he has a 6770. Ew.
