Anyone have a cool idea for a theme for my new build?

I building a new computer and i kinda want it to have a sort of theme to it. 

I'm spending 2500-3000$ on it, and I want it to look just as cool as it performs. 

Any cool advice is appreciated, and if I end up using yours ill keep you posted as to how it is going.

probably just color and case lighting (probably shoulda specified before lol). Im just out of ideas for something that looks cool other than RGB.

Just think about what you like, Rick and Morty perhaps and choose the main colours you want to use if you wanna do rgb and implement any ideas into your build. I know it sounds basic and probably not the answer you were looking for but that's pretty much it.

Maybe themed around a favorite game franchise of yours?

(i.e. blue and yellow for Fallout, blue and silver or green/copper for Halo)

probably a mid tower, most likely a 8700K if they get back in stock soon ish, a 1080 ti,most likely an AIO cooler though im open to custom.

Just get hard-line water cooling, black or white components and soms nice white/blue LEDs. Ta da.

its not that i dont like RGB, but it is a little over-used. I'm still open to it if there are any really cool looking builds though I feel like a more classy build is the way to go

You pretty much have the same view as me. RGB is way too overdone. Just go with a nice colour scheme, elegant, maybe wrap the case in wood vinyl to make it sleeker?

That actually sounds like an interesting idea, how would I go about wrapping it? I haven't done something like that before so do I just buy wood vinyl wrap and fit it to my case?

I typically will build a blacked out system, then use RGB components. Doing so allows me to have a red/blue color scheme this month, but then maybe a red and white scheme another month. Doesn't always have to be unicorn vomit. Oh and there's also my favorite thing which is how I have the system 90% of the time... "lights out."

Basically you'd buy a roll of vinyl wrap, cut it to size, and just set it on. Same process as with cars. 

I haven't watched this video, but from skipping through it, it seems pretty good.

That sounds like a pretty good idea as well

RGB everything but get a case that has a basement for the PSU and no side panel windows.

I'd go with custom watercooling, and get a nice fluid/coolant that you like and then build the PC around that fluid. For example, if you pick a purple fluid, the build could be a either a black or white build with purple LED's, or you could keep it black with the purple fluid and light everything up with white LED's. A lot of people like to put figurines and stuff like that in their builds, so if that's your type of thing you could also do that too.
