Facial recognition payment in china stores

okay, so i personally dont really want this to become a widespread thing anytime soon, as cool and exciting as it is the chance of error (as low as they may claim it to me) is just too much for me, however, as this technology got perfected i would slowly be more comfortable with it.

but also

the cost of implementing a system would be insane. not just getting the costs for the stand that scan your face, but also the database that hgolds the information where the faces are mathed with the bank accounts, but then also holding such nformation is so important to keep safe,

there are s many ethical and social issues as well as technological hardware and software plannning that needs to go in place for widespread adoption

i dont know, maybe i am exaturatting

im not against it,

but i dont want to to be adopted by the likes of Woolworths or coles (massive australian food stores cuz i live in australia, they are the equvalent of wallmart)

what do you guys think?

There are two broad ways in which innovation takes place within firms. In one alternative, the Marketing team says "our market research says people have nails", the R&D team invents the hammer, and the Product Development team creates a range of hammers in different shapes and sizes. 

In the other alternative, the R&D team says "hey, we came up with a hammer", the Product Development team scrambles to find anything you could remotely see as a nail, even if only on LSD, and then the Marketing team goes like "Hammers! Because... Look, here's a picture of a cool girl, and she's holding a hammer. Does your car feature a built-in hammer? Hammers is what plants crave!"
