Advice on Gaming/Productivity Build

Hello everyone... i've been planning for some time to build my first high end rig... i want it for gaming and productivity (coding, some design, etc) what would you guys recommend?? i also want to keep a color scheme... i'm in between Asus ROG Color Scheme (Red/Black) or Asus WS Color Scheme (Gold/Black) ... Here's the list of the components, i'll appreciate any advice you can give me.. Budget is around $5.500 but since i'm not from USA and i have to import them and pay taxes and stuff i think it will be around $4.000 in components and about $1.500 in taxes and other expenses. I do want a 780TI SLI and 2 SSDs in RAID 0... I plan to do some overclocking (CPU & GPU) and possibly some virtual machines...

Also nobody is going to make fun of you if you don't buy ALL Corsair (aside from that not being very frugal)

Are you going high end for performance, looks, to show off, or just to go high end?

I want performance/looks (that's why all Corsair and ASUS), i want to future proof my investment too and since i am going to do one BIG purchase shipping and handling will be cheaper... That's part of why the SLI, i can get more SSDs and i have plenty of HDDs but videocards are expensive to import so i wanna do it all in one.

No such thing as future proof.

Also, it's better and cheaper in the long run to get value parts now and use the money for upgrades as you need them.

The 780 Ti is a bad value...

None of those.

Why do you want high end? It's usually not much more performance of no more at all at a much higher price.

What kind of gaming do you do?

Well i've never really had like a high end build, i've always been with mid range computers, shitty graphics card, etc... i want to try high end and i finally have some money to spare on it... that's the reason basically, my computer crashes easily when i have 2 virtual machines running and i want to avoid that... And Crysis, AC, BF4, NFS, i know the SLI isn't really necessary but i want it i also wanna get into some more gaming now that i have some more time... there's no other reason than that tbh i want an SLI, i might get a couple of PB278Q within the next year. It will be mostly for productivity tbh... Some gaming... i guess i just really enjoy the ROG color scheme... and i'm going for ASUS, so idk with which one i should go... i was also considering a Maximus VI Extreme instead of the formula, i like the idea of 3-way/4-way SLI, if i get the other 2 monitors i'll probably want an nVidia Surround setup in that case i might want to grab another GPU... I know i don't need it... but i sort of want it...

I'd really recommend just getting a single aftermarket 290...

A single card should have enough power as is and there will be a better, cheaper, and newer one out that won't have the problems that sli/cf bring.

If you have money to spare, use them on upgrades that actually get back good performance.

I'm sort of an nVidia fanboy so i'll be going for nVidia... Now... this other money to spare thing... what other upgrades you think are worth it?? Instead of the SLI

Future upgrades with better and cheaper parts.

With the amount of money you're already spent, you can go with a 4930k and and it would still be cheaper...not worth it though--same applies to what you already have.

Getting all this isn;t gonna make it futureproof because we don't know whats ahead. Also just get a single R9 290x.... Then upgrade it as the years go on.

It's more expensive.

Sounds like you're just looking at more expensive products for that reason alone.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2ajk2

Remove stock Kraken x60 and case fans. 140mm's for cpu cooler and front intake. 120mm for rear exhaust.

Wait for aftermarket 290's instead of the 780 if possible.

Rest of peripherals are pretty subjective.
