NZXT Kraken G10 GPU Liquid Cooling Bracket

The NZXT Kraken G10 lets you use a CPU AIO on your GPU, making it sort-of a GPU AIO. It's not going to be the best cooling solution out there but it's nice to see the option. NZXT also allows the user to use not only their own AIO but also other brand's AIO; they have a compatibility list which imo is very cool

Pretty cool idea, however, won't this increase sag by quite a lot? And secondly, looking at the pics, this won't be a dual slot card any more. So If you have a sound card/raid card beneath it, you'll end up with some trouble.

It is compatible with neither my GPU (non-ref GTX 770) nor my AIO (Cooler Master Seidon 240M)

 

Very cool though. I wish it worked with a reference R7770 GHz. Then I would buy one and a H55 to play around with it.

I see no reason why you couldn't, look at the pictures it's just held on by some screws. You could most likely replace it with whatever fan you want.

I haven't seen any before so I guess so, I doubt they will have any application aside from this bracket or a SFF CPU cooler or something.

I haven't thought about this, thats actually a good point. It doesn't seem to extend to a triple slot so I think it might still manageable but for some people with almost all of their pci slots filled it might actually cause a problem, thanks for the input

Well, going at the angle of trial and elimination. I'm presuming this is meant to be used in a micro atx system. (This in a Hadron or a Prodigy will end up hitting the PSU or the side panel and a standard atx case or higher will look absolutely horrible). So for anyone who is interested in this, If you want to SLI, something with the configuration of the Gigabyte G1.Sniper M5 will be something to look out for.

I'm still concerned about the VRM/VRAM cooling I'd like to think the fan without sinks would suffice but I have serious doubts.

The problem with this kits, is that most of the times they are really a pain in the ... to install.

I dont think so. if you click the link it appears that the rad can be mounted some where other than the card itself. should be ok.
