- turns out PSU rekt itself because the case has poor ventilation.

- remember I had a spare PSU in an old dell that had a dead motherboard (ATX PC)

- Hooked it up to my PC, bent some of the metal case prongs on the side and slid the cables though.

- it just werks

 

Not very pretty but I ain't about to spend more money on a PSU then I did on the PC it's going to be used in (or this case on). 

You can just like route the cables through the giant hole on the back, where the old psu used to be.

No, Floppy. They are different.

The keyboard is from an old Daewoo PC(Socket 7, 8MB, Win 95), it has Turbo button.

My laptop's hinge maybe holding together with super glue and tissues, my optical drive is covered with electrical tape painted black with a permanent marker, and my desktop maybe 2 desktops side by side, with the PSU of one computer powering the other computer, but @manikyath wins the bodge award of 2017.

Oh my, cool thread. This thread gave me an idea for a Frankenstein build out of old parts I have laying around here.
