I'd go with the 1080Ti...and the lights I guess. They'll be the two biggest improvements.

The LED light bulbs should theoretically last you most of the rest of your life, and the 1080Ti is a huge improvement over the 970.

The dual camera arrangement on the OnePlus isn't going to be mind blowing. It's not like the G6 where you get a wide angle lens and a standard one, the second camera is just used for color accuracy and improved low light performance. Which isn't a huge issue on the 3T to begin with. Smaller battery is a huge downer too. I'd wait to see if they improve with the OnePlus 6 and stop copying Apple.

 

Why not get a Philips Hue kit? It should come out cheaper and you don't have to worry about ordering replacement stuff from the US.

I've had it, but had to return to Home Depot, because they don't remember settings, if a real wall switch is used, a dumb decision defended by Phillips engineers.

 

Lifx have some kind of capacitor which makes the memory remember the last state.

Hmmm interesting. Though they now make switches that alleviate that issue. I wonder if they'd fit over a standard light switch..
