Allow color in status

I want to have color in status updates. It makes it better for people who like color-coding stuff (like me)

It is supported, but the editor is smaller and shows less buttons. 

 

Create it in a new topic but don't submit it, and then just copy to your status

 

 

I've argued about having multiple lines of editor buttons but the answer for some reason has been no

when you include a feature than can be abused, it will get abused.

not really a big deal tho.

 

Colonel Mortis will probably say something along the lines of

"this isn't really important to most people, and would require lots of changes in the way our text editor works, so no."

That is actually one of the things on my (quite long) list of things to look into in the next few weeks, and potentially change.

You can select auto colour in the colour picker. The problem occurs when you paste content that Chrome (and other related browsers) insists is black/white rather than automatic.
