How much of a Tinfoil hat (privacy nerd) are you?

Cobalt

So yeah, I myself use DoNotTrackMe, MaskMe (for somethings only), changed from Google to DuckDuckGo (which I found out to be quite useful anyway), Adblock (disabled on linustechtips.com of course) and my privacy settings at max on Firefox

Exaggeration? maybe, but after seen that DNTMe blocked over 2300 tracking attempts in 8 days, it gets you thinking?

Anyway, what about you guys? whose the more pronounced privacy nerd around here?

I don't use extra programs for it, but I have enough aliases that I may as well have a second identity, and I go through more one-time use credentials than Ke$ha goes through guys in a night.

I try to use the same username for everything.  If you are on any other site and you see a user with this username, it might be me.  Unless it's on Facebook, Twitter or any of those things because I don't have accounts on those sites.

I put a ton of chains around my computer, put tin cans hung by strings in the door way. Just to make sure the NSA's mercenary ninjas cant steal information.

I disable what I can, and for private browsing, I use this browser called the Epic Privacy Browser...oh and every once in a while I'll turn on HotSpot Shield.

I care about privacy but I don't use things like what some you guys use.

I feel like if some government agent truly wants to spy on me they will do it no matter what. Plus I know I haven't been planning international terror attacks so I really don't care what pathetic NSA agent thinks about what I do online.

I don't care at all, I don't understand what the huge deal is about privacy online, yes it's messed up that they're doing this, but it doesn't bother me at all, I don't do anything online I would be scared of getting caught for, and I don't give a dam if the government knows what porn I look at.

If you're not doing anything illegal I don't see the big deal

My privacy is not a concern of mine, heck, I even use my name as alias for forums. Sure it might end up with some weirdo knocking on my door one day, but until then... meh!

Cheers,

Linus

I have always had the idea that IF we can stop something like 9/11, boston bomb, school shooting etc from happening by all ears i dont mind. I know nobody is interested on what I do in internet. I use same nick, use my facebook. Use same email for both entertaiment purposes and actual serious used. Yeah yeah someone might get angry for something and swat me or something, or tovermenta get corupted and use my somprecios personal data for their own uses. Changes for somebody actualy givia fuck is prety slim.

I dont care if google or facebook stores my data. After all. I have openly allowed them to by submiting it there in first place. If you want security stop using a platform that is so open.

i care enough to outright refuse to use services like dropbox and google drive, i also dont use gmail.(have an account but i am moving everything over to my own domain). I still have FB but only really for talking shit and chatting with a small group of friends. One thing i do need to do is go through all my passwords and change them to random 20 digit numbers that i will create using the random button on my calculator and running the subsequent number through several equations so that i cannot be reversed in case the RNG(random number gens are not always random, just look at pokemon and the shit you can do in those games if you know what to look for) on the graphics calc is not really random( there will also be some symbols thrown it to make it more better).
