South Brisbane Fibre Upgrade FTTP gives 100 down and 5 up and at the new place hopefully I can get 100 down and 40 up with tier 4 NBN

Singapore - 1Gbps for 35USD/month.

Holy fuck!!!! For that price in the U.K. 35 usd works out at £22.75 and the best you can get for that price is 100 down 6 up. Some 80 down 20 up packages cost more than you pay for 1Gbps, the U.K. overcharges.

I went from 100 to 152 for free, as far as I know everyone on the top package gets the upgrade- they are doubling the speeds for every package I think

If I can bag myself a decent job soon, I may think about getting the 152 package. I'm just worried about the latency, as I know a few people in Leeds close to me on Virgin media and a few years ago they were solid all around, these days their latency during the night is God awful

When hardline was relased I stayed over at my mates, he had 1200ms, we couldn't play all night, my girlfriends auntie who lives over the Road is on the 100/6 package and when I tested it wired at around 3pm I only got 90 down.

I get like 14 - 100 on BF4 depending on the server
