But pls help me decide whether Amazon prime is actually a good deal. Im from the philippines so shipping from amazon is expensive af. Will amazon prime make it free?

I'm not sure if it'll make shipping from Amazon free for you in the Phillipenes, but in the United States, it's absolutely worth it if you often order online. On top of that, you get nice little bonuses like Twitch Prime (free monthly in game goodies for various games, a free subscription to your favorite streamer, etc!) which normally cost half the price of prime. Again, speaking in the US terms, but it also makes 1-day shipping cheaper; I can get 1 day shipping for $4 on most products.

Yes. you will get free 2-day shipping unless the terms are different for the Philippines. Is it worth it? Depends on how much you buy. There are other perks, though, but I don't know if Amazon still gives viewings.

Amazon Prime goes deeper than just free shipping. You get free music streaming, movie streaming, unlimited photo storage, free 15gbs of cloud storage, Mturks, and the list goes on and on. They don't really advertise the other stuff though

It's streaming, and it has annoying DRM and won't play HD on my monitor for some reason

Well, not just for me, I'd imagine others have this problem too, but certainly I'd imagine that for some it all works fine

That's not true... it does exist in other countries.  Canada and the UK I know for sure, but there are probably others too.

You need hdcp support for all displays connected and os that supports it and browser support

 

So windows or osx. No open sourcedrivers . No vgascreens . No old displays.

Are you located in the USA? Then it quite possibly is well worth it, since you'll get Prime Video, Music, and Photos in addition to free shipping on Prime items.
