The only thing I don't like about edge is that it uses bing, and bing is chock a block with adds, news and other stuff. That's the only ownside of it really

Edge honestly is that bad.

They have made a ton of improvements to it in the last 2 years, but it's only gone from unusable to awful if you ask me.

It's missing so many features, the GUI is terrible, it's full of security issues, only works on Windows 10 and all the other issues with it really makes me question why anyone in their right mind willingly uses it.

I can honestly say that I would not use it even if Microsoft paid me, which as you can see in this thread, they try to.

Regular chrome is garbo.

Chrome canary. I just hate bing, and it is NOT mobile friendly. They are seriously just better revamping the whole site.

The GUI is childish, agreed on that part. I don't think I would use only working on Windows 10 as an issue though, seeing as though it's a service of the OS rather than as an app - in Microsoft terms.

As far as browser choices go, I wouldn't use Edge. I just don't think it's as horrific as people make out and can get along with it fine - if I had a choice though, I wouldn't use it.

Well it is an issue.

Users expect to be able to use the same browser across multiple devices (for syncing purposes for example). Edge does not exist on iOS or Android so that is a major drawback for users who want that experience.

I'd consider using edge if they didn't delete all of my bookmarks and customizations every time there's a windows update

LOL nothing beats chrome

I like chrome as well for the functionality but i use Firefox instead because it runs a lot faster for me. So I think Firefox is better.

Microsoft Already offer multiple programs with the most notable being their Microsoft Rewards. I have not heard about the edge browser 'reward program' however it doesn't seem unrealistic since they already offer rewards for using bing.

I wonder if one day bing and Microsoft edge will get rid of adds and stupid news stuff that I don't care about. It's not even news relevant to my country.

Until they ban you from the program for actually using it. Then refuse to provide any details of what they accused you of doing. For life... rapists and murders will be back on the street and I'll still be banned from Bing rewards.

Been using Edge on my netbook for a while now (well, ever since I got it) and it's pretty nice, except for the lack of a proper ad-blocker (which I desperately need).

BTW, Microsoft Rewards is only available in the US afaik

That sucks, Australia and every other country no get rewards.... but I guess it is because the us has way more people that could use it to get rewards then leave edge.
