any thoughts on these is it worth it for someone to buy? Myself after selling my PC I am waiting for Skylake/Kabylake-X to pair it up with a 1080 ti and a 240hz monitor for csgo and overwatch.

The Parvum build looks to be better value.

depends on the loop you want, 400 to 600$ would be a good estimate.

to be fair , this one is watercooled. You could build a pc with the same specs for less , but is it possible to watercool it also ?

yes you might have to hunt around for parts, the PCs OP is showing most likely are fake.

Given the time, yes. Not given the time, no.

From what I've tried with water-cooling, it isn't easy to do things in one shot. It can take a new user many attempts and failures (not to mention hours) before the loop is complete and tested.

Looked around all Maximus motherboards didn't find a single one that looks like that. FAKE Confirmed.

i mostly meant price wise . Sure , given enough research and planning it would be possible . What i meant is that while you could build a dual 1070 + 7700k machine fairly easily for that price , it might not necessarily be that horrible of a deal when considering the watercooling parts. It all depends on how much the loop is worth .

How to know which is cheaper:

Is it a high end machine -> build it yourself

Is it an everyday web browsing and email machine? -> buy OEM.

To me, buying prebuilt vs. building it yourself boils down to one thing: It's convenient. Even if you're a seasoned builder, you're spending the better part of the afternoon getting to the point of even making sure the thing powers on and everything is happy. With a pre-built, you plug it in and wallah, you're up and running. If that means spending a non-trivial amount more, then so be it.
