Hopefully around $400 not including already bought R9 290X. Kentucky, USA

 

2. Aim

Play Mass Effect Andromeda - Medium/High Settings 1080p @ 60 fps

Be able to Upgrade smoothly over next few years

 

3. Monitors

Unavaiable

 

4. Peripherals

Razer Mouse, Wireless Keyboard, USB Xbox Controller

Window 8.1 (Not Installed yet)

 

5. Why?

Looking for improvements on parts and budget savers.

Thoughts on improvement? Maybe help save $20 somewhere to insure I can afford Corsair Case.

Mass Effect Andromeda isn't a very optimized game, so if you can, I'd try to find a way to increase your budget.

Don't worry about the case too much M8.  You've made some excellent choices but you need a better PSU, especially with that GPU.  If you can live with a PC I'm a cardboard box I'd do it as to not compromise on the components.  Get a case later!

The wraith is actually very decent for a stock cooler so dw about swapping this right away. However you havent got an SSD in that build which will really make a difference to general experience and games. Also Psu is a bit weak.

OP, as you have a 290X in your build, you really do need something higher in quality than the 500B. The cheapest PSU that I'd recommend while still is a "good" PSU would be the Seasonic S12II 520W. The only downside is it's $10~ more expensive than the 500B but hey, it will prevent your PC turning into a firecracker :D

I always thought EVGA was a good brand. Thanks for the improvements!

Mostly was just for asthetics since VIVO 06 case has the blue LED fans while Corsair has red. There is also the fact that Reference 290X might run a little hot and Corsair has a tad more airflow from my understanding
