Should be ok with them games. Your CPU is still great, You have enough memory. Its just your GPU which aint the fastest or the slowest on the market. You should be good with games. But if you want 144fps dream on. Apart from overwatch that seems to be pretty good at getting high fps.

Really? From what I've heard, Overwatch is easy to run. Alos jsut out of curiosity, how would it do in 4k medium settings?

144hz doesn't mean it'll have to be able to pump out at least 144fps or more at all times. If it's anything beyond 60fps at all, you'll still benefit, you'll still get 1440p, and you'll have a reason to upgrade your GPU later if you want your frame rate to keep up with the hertz.

You seem to get the wrong end of the stick here. I meant if you want 144fps in games then thats unlikely unless its a old game. Newer AAA titles no way. As for overwatch i meant yes you should hit well over 100 fps in game. Its not hard to run

Ok, my bad. Also 4K medium settings, above 60fps? Just curious

The monitor has freesync, so it'll probably be nice no matter the FPS

Rainbow and OW you should be able to get 144hz (might have to turn down one or two settings for Rainbow)

BF1 and forza you'll have to go for medium settings probably.

You might get 4k 60 fps in OW at med-high settings

However if you only have the Fury X, you'll start to run out of Vram at 4k
