If you do get a package in the mail, film yourself opening it, clearly showing where it comes from and all that. So that you at least have proof that it was a box filled with rocks.

I'm always blown away by how many people are naive enough to think that these will be legitimate deals. Obviously they're not, and sure, you're covered, but you're only continuing the cycle by "seeing if it might be real".

Typical scammers on ebay will have multiple accounts and friends with multiple accounts where they just buy really cheap stuff off each other, say for $0.01 then give positive reviews.
