I would assume that is because EK created the EK Vulture and a couple of years later ThermalTake released the View 27.

Google "EK Vulture" and "Thermaltake View 27" go to images and you will see what I mean.

Well the T and F keys are pretty close so I'm sure it was just an "accidental" typo :D

It was a limited edition case and given to modders to build with it and show off EK parts, it was never produced and publicly sold.

My major complaint of most cases is that you cannot see your build without having it on your desk and having lighting inside the case! THe v27 here deals with those for me at a cheap price of $77 Canadian while supporting a 360 rad in the front!

Same basic design. Extremely basic design. One that a high schooler could easily come up with, without seeing either case.

To say that ThermalTake copied the design from EK is to say that Dodge copied the concept of the pickup truck from Ford.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

What other cases have their side panel window curve up the top of the case? There are only so many ways you can design a box, it's little things like that which set you apart from the competition. I bet you were one of the people who didn't think they copied CaseLabs either right xD

Your automotive analogy is pretty broad so it doesn't really make sense. What Thermaltake did to EK is more comparable to what would happen if Ford made a pickup truck with headlights that went had their bulbs in a horizontal alignment and Dodge copied everything except their headlight bulbs were in a vertical alignment. Hell the 2005 Ford Mustang had more more differences from the 2004 Ford Mustang than the Thermaltake View 27 made from the EK Vulture...
