They basically say there is a convergence of all races but give you clear options to be all races but white unless you pick the default character. Why they left it out when making a custom one I have no idea why. Should be more upset they made women in the game look like a child threw together wet clay. Lol Most women don't look that bad, and if you have to say someone doesn't look that bad they do.

Hmm. I've been avoiding any type of gameplay videos I can for fear of spoilers or just blowing up my own little hype train, which trust me has been harder than you would think.  But the one or two pictures I have seen look... meh, but I've heard the animation is what you get if you shit out some shit and eat the shit to produce shitception.

Not actually push the idea into the game, I can understand and entire studio being idiots (mostly because it's under EA), I don't understand how they can exclude white people and still have skin color. It's a spectrum. Is everyone just straight black?

 

... Actually, I should revise my statement, the studio isn't entirely idiots. I'm sure some very intelligent and talented people worked on this game, and just didn't have any say in this shit.

I'm very glad Valve is run the way it is. I don't even know how I'd feel if this happened to Half Life or Portal.

"Valve Time" is a thing, of course, but I'd rather wait a decade for a game than have it turn out like this.

If I was honest, I agree,  I'd rather just one guy develop over a decade if that one guy actually loves the game he is making. Nowadays, it just feels like publishers are making stuff and don't actually care for how its released aslong as it makes them moola.

Except this is a game with character customization and excluding anyone is racist. However in games that offer no such thing and you have no choice you take what you can get. I don't belly ache when a game offers no customization and it's a black or Asian dude cause I'm not racist and enjoy playing as any race equally.

I think this thread is an example of how our short lived lives affect how we see the world around us.  If you think that what you guys consider "white" will last for as long as we can survive in this place, you are seriously in need of some kind of awakening.

 

"White" people are no more a race than "black" people are a race.  With our newly founded ability to travel the world in a very short time, I don't see anything wrong with the idea that what is now considered "white" to be changed.  Just give it time, you'll see... oh wait, no you won't... you gonna die.

This made zero sense. There will always be different races and differences between them which make the world a fun sexual place to be in. Doubt that would ever happen in reality studies have shown people from races tend to stick with their own race when they procreate. In the end a single race would be boring as hell. Even if that were to happen it wouldn't happen in 200 years time.

 

Edit: I'm against that as I love having variety in the people of the world. A single race and culture seems to be a step back to me.

I'm just saying it's a possibility, typically these studies use the increasing amount of multiracial people as supporting evidence. I agree that 200 years definitely isn't enough time for a mixed race to fully take over though.

Really don't make a whole lot of logical sense.  Plus, different variety of planets and stars would cause a large range of shades and hues of skin color.  Probably would cause a larger range of physical features since there is no way every planet has the same environment nor gravitational pull.
