What us best price to proformance out of the rx 480 or 1060 or th 1070

480 4gb has really high price to performance and the 480 is a great choice for 1080p.  If you play a 1440p or higher go for the 1070

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Out of the 480 to the 1060 its the 480.  If you can afford the 1070 its better than the 480.

But as for the 1060 and 480 they are basically equal in all honesty.  It comes down to which you prefer more and who is cheaper at the moment.

1070 beats the 480 but the 480 can run 1440p easily at ultra in most games and in bad games turn it down to high problem solved (theres basicly no difference between high and ultra anyway)

480 vs 1060 depends on the games u play and which is cheaper

as far as I know, GTX 1070 is better in dx 11 and 1440p, but rx 480 can beat gtx 1070 in dx 12 on 1080p, not 1440, but I would rather buy 1070 over 480. The advantage of 480 is that crossfire is cheaper than 1070 SLI. Buy the card that suit you better:

dx 12- 480

dx11- 1070

SLIf 1070 is faster than Crossfire of 480.

Just... no. A 1070 is superior to a 480 no matter the API. Of course the gap is less important in DX12, but it won't make the RX 480 magically faster than a 1070. Plus, the number of games using DX12 is so small it doesn't even matter. In its current state, DX12 can't replace DX11 anyway. Vulkan FTW

Yup.. GTX 1070 > RX 480. In literaly ANYTHING. Power consumption, performance, even in Doom in Vulkan, the 1070 should be faster.

In average over all tested Games in 1080p: GTX 1070 > 2x RX 480 Crossfire.

Source: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/RX_480_CrossFire/19.html

The Crossfire RX 480 setup only can move past teh GTX 1070 by a few %, if you don't include Games, that do NOT scale with Multi-GPU.

In Average: GTX 1070 should be 35-40% faster than a RX 480.

So if the 1070 is 35-40% more expensive, the Price/Performance is the Same.
