How do you Canadians handle the cold?

Its barely 50 degrees here in california and since im not really moving or doing any physical activity, I get super cold, especially my fingers and toes for some reason.

Is your guys solution just a heater (which I already order) or is there a way to maintain you body warm without it.

Not Canadian but here in Michgian we just put on layers of cloths. Winter Coat, scarf, gloves and etc. Some times I have worn PJ bottoms under my pants for extra warmth.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

If you can and spend enough time outside in the cold, I would definitely encourage picking up a set of thermal underwear.  I've got a set of Under Armour thermals and it is a wonderful thing.  Not heavy or bulky underneath your street clothes.

Lol, here in Germany last summer we had 100°F/38°C (and even more), and this winter we had -13°C/-25°C :D

Climate change is fake.

I dont go outside. Unless its spring or summer. When winter hits Im like a bear, I go in to hibernation. Back when I worked at Burger King I used to have to change the trash outside in the morning and sweep up the trash on the ground.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Haha, and it only would have worked if I'd paid more than $550US for the entire computer set up ;)

They could have had a whole GB of useless memory and I still wouldn't care at that price.

But 80F is hot...

Anything over like 77F and I start melting...

But... 25 Celsius is just warm. 27 is average, and it stays like that until 34, where it starts getting noticeable, then 37 is where I find it best when the humidity is not too high c:

I would also like to add. People who live in colder climates build up a tolerance to the cold. For example, during my childhood my mom kept the heat between 63 - 68 degrees F. I cant stand when the heat is on high, or as I like to put it "You got the heat on hell". I actually have went to the thermostat and turned it down. My dad has to suffer because hes always cold. But Im always warm.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Being from Wisconsin, I consider 'cold' to be anything below -20F and anything hot to be above 60F. I hate anything over 65F and don't care about the cold whatsoever as long as I have an appropriate coat. Currently my dorm room is around 58F which I consider perfect.

But 37 is almost 100F.  That's so icky.  I'd be sweating like crazy and it would be horrible.  ?

I like cold.  I'm not suited for warm weather.  ?

inb4 people complain about the Fahrenheit. 50 F = 10 C.

Now I'm not Canadian, but I am from a place where 10 C is quite normal. The way I handle it: being used to the temperature. Oh and blankets.

Yeah I walk to my school currently at 5-10C Mon-Friday, I don't really do anything extra except put on a jumper and that's it, 10C is pretty normal

They don't. The ancient Canadian race froze to death centuries ago. The over the top polite people who manage to fit "eh" in every sentence are just part of a multi-government cover-up.

The truth is out there. You just have to be willing to accept it.

i live in Sweden, mom hates the cold but i intentionaly turned off all heating in my room so now its during the winter without my computer on max 15C, its great for overclocking lol, if i want more warmth in my room i turn on my computer and play games for an hour or something, for outside just keep your wrists and neck covered(with something pretty skin tight and wind resistant) and you are good, a hat might also be in order but not for temperatures above 5C IMO. beeing used to the temperature is a big part of it and if you want to get better at dealing with the cold turn down your thermostat so its cooler inside at all times

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
