Is there any alcohol beverages better than beer?

Not only in calories, but in alcohol.

Depends on your tastes. That's kind of like asking what the best car to drive is (don't drink and drive of course). There are some absolutely amazing cocktails out there if made properly. Same with wine. And of course the almost limitless flavors you can get by brewing beer.

Can get some pretty nice ciders, though they probably have more calories than beer as they tend to be sweeter(thats just a guess).

Thatchers make some good ones, and "Henry Westons" can get some strong ones too, 8+%

I'm American, that should explain my feelings on what I've tried lol. Usually when I drink it tends to be stuff like margaritas or vodka mixes.

Beer isn't very sweet, at least not any style that I've tried. But you could try some oatmeal stout, well made weizen (wheat beer) or even some brown ale. There's a couple commercial brands that also make beer I like, one of them that's available in the US is Dos Equis Amber

Go find some Shiner Bock, IMO its the gateway drug beer to the world of good beer. Then you can start with the common-ish wheat beers, move to microbrews, and finally to barrel aged beers. After you've figured all that out, its time for single malt scotch.

Whiskey. Once you start, you've had it. Also, Cognac is my evening drink of choice, or a gin martini after dinner.

Depends on what you are looking for in alcohol.  Beer tends to be a great drink to celebrate the end of a workday or week.  Personally not a huge fan of drinking liquor straight since I haven't found anything that tickles my fancy yet.  I do keep a bottle of white rum for various purposes.  If you want something really sweet.  Japanese plum wine or Umeshu is about as sweet as booze can get imo.

Saying a blanket "beer" is almost like saying "Liquid" since there's just so many damn different variants, it is one of the oldest human inventions we know about.

 

My personal favorites depends on the mood: When I'm drinking socially and whiskey isn't available, I prefer light lagers since otherwise the amount of beer eventually provokes unpleasant gastrointestinal issues later on or the next day.

 

When I am just eating or chillaxing and want a beer I usually go for Stouts. I am particularly fond of Chocolate Stouts.

Nah, Beer tastes like shite (IMO)...

To be fair, I've only tasted like 7 "types" of beer so...maybe I'm not the one to have a say about it's taste  

 

Anyway, I'll go back to drinking the best tasting liquid ever, Scottish tap water...don't judge meh...

To be honest, I don't really drink at all...I've been sober for 3.5 months and before that, 3 months and before that, 5 months and finally 14.5 years  

No alcohol and soft drinks=moar monies to PC parts and projects, less chances for alcohol related health issues and no beer belly on the brightside...

If garries were legal the world would be a better place. Like alcohol is one of the worst things to have but yet safer stuff that you have a better time with is illegal.

Sure is. Bought it new about 2 years ago. Fantastic car to drive. If you're in Virginia, there are a decent number of ST groups around such as Capital ST, Richmond ST, Hampton Roads Focus & Fiesta, etc

Well I bought it 8k miles used in Virginia but I live in NY. Drove 7 hours each way to get it! Sadly I couldn't find one closer in my price range (ST2)

Ah ok cool. What part of NY? I used to live in Western NY, went to school in Northern NY, and lived in Albany for about 18 months.

Saratoga county. We got hella snow this weekend, good thing I put on Michelin tires and some nice rims from Tire rack in December when I bought it!
